 We are excited to share an important milestone in the journey of Ile Irin Ajo. Our organization has officially been selected to join the African Impact Challenge (AIC) 2026 Cohort under the Health Entrepreneurship Stream – Builder Track.

This recognition marks a significant step forward for our mission to promote community-based tourism, wellness, and sustainable development across African communities.

About Ile Irin Ajo

Ile Irin Ajo is a community-based tourism and creative enterprise that designs wellness, cultural, geo, and agro-tourism experiences rooted in African communities.

Beyond organizing experiences, Ile Irin Ajo is also building technology that enhances community-based tourism and wellness travel. Our planned digital platform will enable travelers to discover, book, and personalize authentic tourism experiences hosted by local communities, while also promoting transparency, storytelling, and impact tracking.

Our work focuses on creating travel experiences that promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, while ensuring that local communities benefit directly from tourism activities.

Through our model, we connect travelers with authentic experiences such as:

  • Cultural and heritage tours

  • Agro-tourism and farm experiences

  • Wellness and nature-based retreats

  • Art and creative community engagements

At the same time, we support local artisans, farmers, tour guides, and youth by integrating them into the tourism value chain.

The African Impact Challenge is a program that supports innovative founders building solutions in the health sector across Africa. Through mentorship, training, and collaborative learning, the program equips entrepreneurs with the tools needed to strengthen their ventures and scale their impact.

Being accepted into the Builder Track means that Ile Irin Ajo will receive support to refine our model, strengthen our strategy, and accelerate our growth as an impact-driven enterprise.
